Orders, Exchanges, and Refunds

I have a question about my order, what should I do?

Reach out! Shoot us an email support@publicrecapparel.com or give us a call (773-609-1375) and we'll be happy to answer any questions. Please don't hesitate, we are here to help.

What do I do if my size is out of stock?

You can register your email address with us on the relevant product page just below the "add to cart" button if your size is out of stock, and we'll send you a one-time email when your size is back in stock. Or, if you'd prefer, feel free to send us an email directly (support@publicrecapparel.com) with the color and size you want. We'll let you know when we expect to have it back in stock and send you a note when the garment is available for purchase. We'll do our best to restock your size and color choice as soon as possible. 

What is your return policy?

Don't love something? Return it – no questions asked. We only ask that you return the item unwashed, unworn and within 60 days after arrival. A try-on is copacetic; a crossfit class not so much. Also, we cover the return shipping on all domestic orders. Easy as pie.

How do I make a return for an exchange or refund?

If you are located in the U.S., to initiate a return for an exchange or refund, please visit http://publicrec.loopreturns.com or email us at support@publicrecapparel.com. Once you have received your return shipping label, please place the garment in the packaging you received it in, include the bottom portion of the original packing slip, and send it back to us. We'll send you an email upon receipt.

Unfortunately, we do not provide free shipping on returns for international orders. To initiate a return for an international order, please email us at support@publicrecapparel.com.

Shipping

How much is shipping? Can I expedite shipping?

Domestic shipping is free! There is an additional fee to ship internationally based on your location. Also, international shipments may be subject to duties, taxes, and other fees that are the responsibility of the recipient.

If you need your item in a hurry, you can expedite domestic shipping at checkout for an additional fee.

Do you ship internationally?

We offer shipping across the globe. There is an additional fee to ship internationally based on your location.

When will my order ship? 

Your order will be shipped within 1-2 business days of when it is placed. Once your order is fulfilled, you'll receive an email with the tracking number so you can keep an eye on the progress.

Where does your clothing ship from?

We are working with a fulfillment partner based in Des Plaines, IL. They ship the majority of our orders.

Other Stuff

How do I take care of my apparel?

Machine wash the garments in cold water with like fabrics. The ADED Pant and Short, Crosstown Bomber, and Politan Hoodie (the synthetic fabrics) can be washed together. The Go-To Tee and Henley (the cotton-based fabrics) can also be washed together. To extend the life of the garment and protect the fabric, we recommend hang drying garments that have synthetic fabrics (ADED Pant and Short, Crosstown Bomber, and Politan Hoodie). If you are in a hurry, tumble dry low for the synthetic fabrics is okay as well.

Where is your clothing made?

Our clothing is manufactured in Peru and Thailand. We also work with partners in Vancouver, Chicago, and Portland.

Do you have anywhere I can try things on? 

Unfortunately, not yet. We only sell our clothes online. We know it can be helpful to try clothes on before purchasing, but we hope that free shipping and free returns will ease the pain. We're confident that you'll love our garments if you try them and if you don't, no sweat off your back.
